ABOUT THE RETREAT

This is a week-long mental wellness retreat designed to give teens space to step away from daily pressures, connect with peers, and build tools to navigate life more confidently.

No. While licensed therapists and trained staff are present, the retreat is not structured as formal therapy. It focuses on connection, reflection, and providing teens with practical tools in a supportive environment.

This experience is intentionally designed around emotional well-being. Instead of activity-focused programming, it centers on meaningful conversations, reflection, and building real connections.

Teens participate in guided conversations, spend time outdoors, reflect through journaling, and build connections with peers in a supportive environment.
PARTICIPATION & ELIGIBILITY

Teens selected through participating Boys & Girls Clubs.

Each Club identifies and selects teens who would benefit most from the experience.

Each participating Club must bring one staff member and up to 12 teens.

Yes. Each Club is asked to send 1 staff member to support their teens during the retreat.
LOGISTICS

July 5–10, 2027 at 1440 Multiversity in Santa Cruz, California.

The retreat is a one-week, residential experience.

All meals, lodging, programming, and materials are provided.

Clubs are responsible for transportation to and from the retreat and providing staff to attend with their teens.
SAFETY & SUPPORT

Teens are supervised by retreat staff and their own Club staff throughout the experience. Licensed therapists are also on site and available to support all participants.

Licensed therapists and trained facilitators are present to guide conversations, support emotional needs, and ensure a safe environment.

Yes. Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive space is a core part of the experience.

Staff and therapists are available throughout the retreat to provide additional support and ensure each teen’s needs are met.
COST & COMMITMENT

There is no cost for participating teens. The retreat is fully funded.

Clubs are responsible for transportation and staff participation.

The retreat is a full 6-day, 5-night experience.

Clubs can express interest through the Bring Your Club page or contact us directly. Space is limited, and Clubs will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage Clubs to contact us as soon as possible.
